I am a property manager by trade, chef by training, and traveler by heart. I have an unfulfilled lust for adventure and have decided to document my experiences for all of you. I guess my thirst for adventure started when I was probably 7 or 8 years old. My aunt and uncle would take us to the beach for summer vacations. Or we would spend weekends cruising the Chesapeake on their boat, the Miss ET. In high school, I got my first job in a restaurant, and then went to culinary school after that. I guess I just assumed that my culinary career would take me anywhere I wanted to go. I ended up in Myrtle Beach, SC for a summer, but life happens, and  I started a family, and that was ultimately the end of my culinary adventures. This website and blog are a way to force me to seek out the adventure I so desperately want.
